[Q] cant flash to stock

i tried using this method http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1342348
but when i start Odin, nothing happens. my phone just stays in the download mode.

then, i put the firmware from sammobile onto my sd card and tried to flash it but the process aborted.

what am i missing?

You gotta be kidding me. You don't flash it in cwm, you odin it. Why is there a new one of these threads at least once a day? Read the forum people!

Don't flash using your phone, flash via Odin. Do a little search, there's many tutorials people have posted for it!

You didnt even extract the zip dude. The tar is inside the zip

ok now i unzipped the file lol. i have a boot.img, recovery.img and a system.img.ext4 file. where do i place them in odin?

It will be a tar file. those are what is inside the tar.

Run it til it completes.

now matter how many times i press "Start", there is no progression
