I flashed aosp lock screen and it was fine. It did take FOREVER to boot after though, like longer than a cache wipe. Thought about pulling the battery, but patience paid off.
It also reset my apex settings, but I had them backed up.

i flashed both asop and tw lockscreen and I cant get any lock screen to show up....not even pin or pattern for that matter!
So im on base 3, E-7 and flashed a couple of addons and for some reason, titanium backup is having trouble restoring my Apex Lancher data. Any solutions?
EDIT: never mind, reinstalled from Play Store, then restored just data. Worked fine after that

Must of.. Thats weird... You have Root Explorer? If ya do go to System/app and see if they are there if so try installing from there... Good luck...
ok, this is probably going to get me flamed and I really don't mean anything negative, but mostly just want to understand, but I have been holding onto this for a year and here goes:
Always hearing about root explorer. referenced all the time in forums whenever a file manager with root functionality is needed. But, unless it has changed a lot since the last time I tried it, Ho Hum. Doesn't even do lan and many free file managers do everything it does as to root functionality. Personally, I like File Manager HD. Have used others in the past. If I was missing out on something, I sure never ran into it.
Go ahead, let it fly :)
Mind you, if it is written by an xda dev then I understand much moreso. And, no insults are intended in anyway.

Base 3 update 7 does not contain the Apex launcher. Have you already downloaded it from the play store, then tried to restore data?

The biggest pro to root manager is that you can mount the root file system in R/W (Read/Write), meaning you can change and edit system files. Most all other file managers wont let you view the root partition, and those that do only give you r/o (Read only) capabilities within the root partition. So, you cant edit system files within the root partition. If you want to edit, say, build.prop, you need root explorer. Hope that helps and makes sense.
I just tried out File Manager HD, and the highest you can go is /mnt/sdcard. Root explorer takes you all the way to / (root) where the system files are. With File Manager HD, you are restricted to the internal and external SD only. Not much help when needing to access system files.

im not sure if this is part of your rom, but while using touchWiz (default) as the launcher, if you long press on the home screen it brings up the wallpaper menu, which is good, but if you try to set a lockscreen wallpaper it shows 2 blank options, and pressing one of them causes a crash. I can always go into gallery and select a wallpaper to set, but just pointing this out.
Thanks!

It has been reported, and I think Sean is fixing it in his next update. Don't quote me on that, though. I know he said he was gonna open up the .apk and take a look at it for repair.

Ok so decided to wait to download all my apps from the market and set up my device. Yesterday was thinking to myself when I was setting it up that there is going to be an update tonight or in the morning and going to have to do all over. And sure enough there was. Sean you are a machine Bro. I love how much work you are putting into this Rom. I have never seen a Dev. that is so devoted to his work like you are. Everyday there is something new to play with on my device... You have skill like no other on this site or any other I do believe. Thanks for all this you are making everyday a wonderful day to wake up to and I'm sure that everyone else on here believes so also!
You should invest in titanium backup. Reduces the time to flash dramatically.
