Default EVO LTE supports SVDO!

.....So, the LG Viper does SVDO (Simultaneous 1X/3G voice/data) and according to reports, the EVO LTE also supports this. How great would it be if this phone, like the LG Viper, had it working out of box?!

Even more of a reason that I'm getting one.

I didn't think CDMA could handle this. Would be great and cut down on my wish for GSM but still. LTE will allow this anyways from what I remember.

I didn't realize people didn't know this yet. If you read the FCC docs posted last month the lab tests showed it. It's not so much a CDMA thing as it is a phone/hardware thing. You can Google it to find out more. And correct you can do simultaneous voice/data with LTE the same way you could with WiMAX or WiFi.

Yes, sorry if my post is confusing. It's responding to two parts of the same comment.

The HTC Thunderbolt on Verizon has been able to do this for a while now, but only in select cities that had their towers upgraded to support it.
