Note: I am posting this here for Xperia Pro (MK16i/a) users out there. The author has not made a new thread for Pro, but provided the necessary files.

TeamXperia Presents LeWa Os V1.0

Hello fellow Xperia Pro users recently I've been on other forums and found a wonderful rom called LeWa Os. It is similar to MIUI in terms ofi initial looks but I promise you it's not the same I have made a full port to our phones and wanted to share it... It's based on FXP 117 CM7.2 and Desire HD BlindLewa so most credits to FXP & blindndumb & of course TeamXperia. Android 2.3.7 & Awesome eyecandy & fluid performance

-Almost evertything
-Even still has CM7 Theme chooser in it








Installation Guide

- Unlock Bootloader (There are plenty of threads with how to do this...)
- Download and place TeamXperia Lewa VX.X on Sdcard
- Download and flash Kernel or just use FXP 115+ Kernel (117 is the kernel we use)
- Enter Recovery By pressing vol down when LED is on when the splash screen is displayed
- Full wipe/factory reset (in recovery)
- Install zip from SD and choose the Rom then flash Lewa Gapps
- Reboot and enjoy
-If WiFi doesn't work/turn on then install applicable WiFi Modules from that specific Kernel you are using

Bugs
-Torch FC (Already on it)
-A ICS lockscreen theme from the online LeWa sever in the themes app
-Lockscreen is odd at the bottom when you pull it to the bottom of the screen (You'll know what I mean if you try it)

Edit 1. The camera is inverted and ofcourse the keyboard layout is messed up.

Camera is inverted and torch force closes because of wrong camera libs.

Please import Xperia Pro's camera libraries like liboemcamera.so libcald* libraries and the camera APK's. Also the permissions btw.

Please provide a HOTFIX for camera and Torch libs

EDIT: dialer and contacts force closing even messaging app also but i managed them with GO Dialer and GO contacts, GO SMS

EDIT2: Keypad numbers jumbled, keypad backlight is off,

The CM kernel is broken, apparently, and as that's what's being used here, we get the same battery life or lack thereof. Apparently there's broken GPU code that has been fixed in other kernels such as Doomlord's, but that the FXP team won't fix in CM. Edit: Riyal knows the details, am just repeating what someone more knowledgeable than I said.

I have to say that while I have enormous respect and appreciation for any devs who give up their time to make ROMs for free for the rest of us, the FXP team are probably the least responsive CM group I've seen on any device I own. I find myself refusing to entertain ROMs with a CM base on my Pro, because I know the battery life won't get me through a day. Avoiding CM is unheard of on my other devices.

but hey, for those of us without the wherewithal to create our own ROMs, opinions are all we have to contribute, and they're like arseholes - everyone has one. Yours may be different to mine

Don't suppose the TeamX guys fancy having a crack at their own kernel, do they?
