Should work on an A500 BUT, just like an A501 running an A500 rom you might not get GPS.... There may be other little issues too but the A501 and A500 have the same basic hardware... Just no GPS.
You might also get an error message saying "Insert SIM Card"...
As long as you do a nandroid backup before installing there should be a way to fix if it doesn't work..

Does anyone remember the old "cell standby"? Where the 500 was looking for a 3g signal, and used battery power? I suspect that might also happen here as well if you run it on an a500.

Generally, you can run a 501 rom on an a500. However, because the 501 rom contains code meant to support the internal 3g, 500 users may experience higher battery drain. Also, depending on the kernel, GPS may or may not work.

A 500 rom running on an a501, results in no 3g, and more than likely, no GPS either. Depends on kernel.

Can you install them? Yes. Will they run? Yes, but not to the full potential.

I do not understand? Are fixed or not fixed.
I installed and the 2 versions, one difference is that in V2 knows the SIM card but can not find network.
SD and USB Flash Drives not detected (Mounted)
Accept that not yet fixed
