Default Got myself a Jabra Clipper

...and thought you might want to know my impressions.

Sound is quite good for a BT device. If I unplug the headphones from the Clipper and connect them directly to the 7.7 the difference, although audible, is not that off-putting (...the sound levels, overall, are quite low...but that's a problem of the 7.7, one that I am still in the process of determining if it is a trait of this particular model or rather a characteristic of my own copy).

The internal battery charge lasts for quite a long time (a couple of days, in intermittent use), as the device auto shuts-off after a while, if not in BT active use.

One thing: The "clip" does not have a pivoting point but rather works as a "U" clip.

This means one has to struggle to clip it to any piece of flexible clothing which, I think, works a bit against the whole concept it was designed around, in the first place.

Nice review ! I am also in the mid of searching for the perfect bt stereo set companion for my upcoming 7.7

So far, either jabra sport or plantronics backbeat go are on top of my list:

Can the Jabra clipper pair than one more device ? say one to your 7.7 and the other one to a smartphone

Sort of. You can pair the HSP part to a smartphone, and A2DP/Stereo part to the 7.7

This means, you can make a phone call with your smartphone, but can't hear any song played on the phone, and you can hear songs and movies on the 7.7, but won't be able to use the headset for audio and video chat

As for me, I own the Clipper and Backbeat 903+. I don't know how good the Go is, but if the 903+ mic is any indication, I suggest you to stay away from the BackBeat

I also have the clipper, the only bad point i see is the battery life.

For dual connection you might want to try the Sony Ericsson MW600

Pro vs Clipper:
1. build in FM Radio
2. allow connection to up to 3 devices - but use 2 at the same time
3. very long battery life (compared to the clipper)
4. lots of buttons for various controls
5. can view songs titles (if device supports)

Con:
1. Bad touch volume control
2. clip not strong, easy to fall off clothing/break

For me the best combination for a bluetooth stereo headset is my combo of Sony Ericsson MW600 + Dr Dre Beats Studios + all my Samsung Galaxies.

Sound output is clear and REALLY LOUD! Works great and awesome together, I highly recommend it for all music fanatics.

Pros and cons are absolutely right + no sound skipping for music or videos, one of the best stable bluetooth connection ever.

It's a personal preference for me, cause thats what my wife gave me and fortunately its working awesome! This is my reaction because I tried this combo first hand and never got disappointed.

Im sure its gonna work great with your preferred headphones brand too.
