Default online pre order, in store pick up?

hey all. I have a great feeling sprint wont be shipping out the online pre ordered LTEvos on time before or on friday.

are people who pre ordered the phone online allowed to go into the sprint store on friday morning and pick up the phone??? there is a sprint store RIGHT next to my job and that would be great!

I would say no cause I think most stores are independently owned.

If pre-ordered phones don't get shipped to customers what makes you think pre ordered phones would be delivered to store locations?

No they're not. Given there are quite a few authorized dealers who are independently own but I never go to those and neither should you. Retail stores only so you don't get screwed.

Just called Pleasant Hill, California Sprint store in the mall. Last Saturday the associate told me that I would be able to pick up my phone on Friday. Just now the guy I spoke with was stuttering and stammering when I asked about it.

Official word from their store; they do not have a launch date as of today and they have no further information on the subject that they are able to share with anyone.

Apple can go sit and spin. And I know people are saying it's not their fault. But I'm willing to wager they had a helping hand in the situation.
