Settings Guide

 

Icon Settings

• Icon Clipping = how long should icon continue to be drawn when off screen
• Icon Quality = what should the images be re sized to in pixels (if icon image is 90x90 pixels best set to 90)

Dock Settings

• Activation Size = the size in pixels from the edge of the screen that will activate the dock (can be seen in dock mode as blue and hidden mode as red)
• Deactivation Size = the size in pixels from the edge of the screen that will deactivate the dock
• Dock Shrink Strength = the strength the icons will shrink as they get further from your finger
• Dock Shrink Max = the max the icon will shrink in percentage (so 60 = 60% of the original dock size)

Scrolling Settings

• Portrait Scroll Direction = the direction scrolling will be set when device is in portrait (0 = vertical / 1 = horizontal)
• Landscape Scroll Direction = the direction scrolling will be set when device is in landscape (0 = vertical / 1 = horizontal)
• Tilt Strength = how strong it will tilt when scrolling
• Tilt Break = how quickly the tilt will go back
• Zoom Strength = how strong the icons will zoom out when scrolling
• Zoom Break = how quickly the zoom will go back
• Tilt Direction = change the rotation direction of the tilt effect
• Scroll Bar = 0 no scroll bar / 1 auto hide scroll bar / 2 always show scroll bar

Custom Icon Guide

 

To use custom icons you simply place the .png file in your storage located at Pictures/Icons and simply name the image the same as the app.
So lets say you wanted to add a icon for the Phone app you would add your phone icon to:
Pictures/Icons/phone.png
Its not case sensitive so it can be name Phone.PNG etc....
If you want to use a icon pack from the play store you will need to get the apk from your data/app folder and extract the images.

added hidden dock swipe from bottom to top

still needs work ill make it so you can select what you want in the dock but for now it just uses the first 5 apps

This is awesome! Nice and simple....few suggestions, ability to lock auto-rotation as well as possibly the ability to choose vertical scrolling.

Looks pretty slick! On a Nexus S the title font is small and you should include some sort of barrier to prevent scrolling too far. Otherwise, looks pretty good.

It seems to be what I've been looking for since I own my Ace! A very, very, very lightweight launcher! I'll install it ASAP and, probably, delete Zeam (abandoned) and use this one!
