Default Samsung Epic 4G Touch Vs. "Rumored" Sprint Galaxy S3

I know this is gonna come across as stupid, but I'm gonna ask anyways. From all the rumored specs being thrown about on the web, it seems like Sprint's version of the GS3 will have a dual core cpu. Now with this being said, the Epic 4G touch also has a dual core processor, so I wanted to see if there was any comparisons as to performance (cpu-wise),because to me the intial listing of (Epic 4G) dual core 1.2ghz vs (GS3) Dual Core 1.5ghz (along with the fact both phones have Corning Gorilla Glass, TouchWiz UI v4.0, 16 GB storage, 1 GB RAM, 8mp camera, 1080p hd video recording, ) doesn't inspire me to spend $200+ for the GS3 when I can spend way less for the Epic, and just get the upgrade to ICS. Is there anyone who can help me with stat comparisons of these chipsets, or willing to discuss other noteable reasons/features that make the GS3 a phone to buy?

Default Why choose an s3

SCREEN.... s3 1280x720 vs s2 480x800
UI.... TW 5.0 (sin3) vs TW 4.0 (s2)... (5.0 has tons of actually useful smart features built in)
Camera... (ALL 8MP CAMERA AREN'T CREATED EQUAL... Compare an iphone 4s vs a evo 4g) In the case of the s3 its faster n has the features of the one X with some add ons
Processor... The s2 xynos scores 3600 stock... The snapdragon s4 scores around 5000 stock
Thats as fast as a tegra 3 quad core so it blows the s2 out the water (quadrant)
Ram... The US, s3 is supposed to come with double the ram (2gb) so say Samsung... That
means no need to worry about crashes due to open programs or slow downs
Also note... S3 has the larger battery and screen

*the s2 is great n i love my epic touch but the s3 is definitely a phone im looking forward to. There would be no way newly coming to sprint or upgrade time i would pass a s3 up for a s2.
Definitely a fair upgrade from s2
