just so everyone knows, if you update the phone audio thing that LG released for v21y, you will lose custom recovery and root access.

So everyone should make a nandroid, update the audio thing from LG, then nvflash cwm, and restore their nandroid .

Since the baseband version doesn't change with the update, I think the audio fixes are part of the ROM, so restoring your nandroid would seem to negate any audio fixes. ROM developers would need to use the new post-update ROM as a base for modifications.

Yeah you're probably right... or maybe they didn't change the baseband version because the "fix" was so incremental?

idk, but my bluetooth call audio in my car is alot better now. im thinking about staying with stock for a while. no real need for root accesss at the moment. besides, i dont have anything but windows 7 and you need xp to unbrick and i have a tendency to softbrick phones.

I could do what kwes did and mod the "new" 2.3.4 stock ROM with root and the Touch of ICS theme and all that.

The arcd hybrid has the quick toggles... if that's what you mean...?

Not sure if I'll add them to the regular touch of ICS unless kwes releases the main one... or I do some serious reading on how to incorporate it myself.

Ya that's what i mean Bro, but arcd hybrid is not as snappy as yours and more over i don't like those extra animations that affect performance and speed...
