Default Xperia S and Autorun Manager (or Genini App Manager).

Hello,
I try to get this working on my device.
First I tried on device with DoomKernel v03a & SSpeed installed. The Managers never get any receivers registered on the device. So the screen for "Advanced mode" of Autorun Manager is empty. I am sure the device is rooted and debugging is on. Genimi is able to freeze/unfreeze apps without issues.
Next try was to flash to stock kernel and prerooted FW .73. Same issue here. Autorun Manager will not recognize any receivers.

Code:
...
Autorun ( 3450): refreshAllPackageInfo: 986
I/Autorun ( 3450): load all info: 2
I/Autorun ( 3450): 0 apps with receivers recognized
D/
...
I attach the logcat log. Not sure if this helps in any way.

Hi, did you find a way to fix that ? I have the same issue on my Xperia S. It seems like it's a device problem, I asked another XS owner to test on his device and he told me that in advanced mode its screen is empty too.

I reported the problem to the dev, first he told me that it's android bug, but I don't think so as JRummy's ROM Toolbox can find the receivers in the Autostart Manager.

Send a report to Autorun Dev on google group : https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/andrs

Hi. I'm using XPERIA SOLA and having the same issue. Any updates?
Currently using v3.6 :/

Weird thing I found out. Did a ti.backup of the app on my milestone 2 and restored the data on my sola.
Funny thing is, all the apps that had receivers and were installed on both SOLA and milestone 2 showed up on the list on SOLA.
Not sure if it works though, dare not risk any hiccups so I simply cleared data which went back to the empty list. :X

I was in contact with the dev but it seems that he's not interested in finding a fix, first he told me :

Quote:
Hi, now this was fine. actually what I see in the logs is that it really cannot find anything installed.... can it be it is because of a custom rom you are using? this looks like an android bug to me...
At this time I was on stock ROM.

Then when I installed CM9 Autorun was detecting some receivers (maybe not all, I'm not sure), so sent him a mail and here's his reply :

Quote:
Hi,

this is why I believe this is a ROM related issue, you found a Rom with which it works. what do you think the next step should be?
So I told him that I give up on this...

I also did give up with Autorun Manager. I know it's working with Miui (tested) on the SXS and probably with CM (not tested). So it has something to do with the Sony ROM. But neither any custom ROM based on it is working.

Good news is, ROM Toolbox is working as expected. It's a bit like cannons for sparrows...but if the Dev of Autorun isn't interessted in getting my money I will not have an issue with.

Will never buy any app from him in the future, I regret promoting his apps to all my friends and some forum saying "support is good" etc...
Lol what nonsense by the dev. =.=
Its understandable if the problem exists on custom ROMs and that he don't help/fix it.
But the issue is ONLY on stock ROM and he gives this crap. ~.~

I came across this thread while looking for a solution on my Xperia Ion... seems like all the Xperia models are not working at first try :-/
I used to have Gemini App Manager to disable receivers, but this and many others - including ROM Toolbox - are not working. I'll stay tuned to get some news...
