and
/mnt/extSdCard/Videos/My Little Pony - Friendship is Magic/MLP - Season 2/
(which is 74 characters - if that helps).

The file name in question that had a problem was "Episode 21 - Over a Barrel.mp4"
(which is 30 characters). Now it seems that any video in either folder with 30 character long filename would be corrupted. I gathered a list here:
Episode 21 - Over a Barrel
Episode 30 - Luna Eclipsed
Episode 32 - The Cutie Pox

It may also be important to point out that I can still rename these files with SSH commands provided I know the filename exactly (despite the fact that it will not show up with the ls -l command).

I found that renaming them from:
Episode 21 - Over a Barrel.mp4 to Episode 21 - Over a Barrel .mp4
(with a space which increases the character count by 1) fixes the issue and it is now visible on ALL protocols and apps.

I dunno if this is a problem with the media scanner or the ROM handling videos with 30 character long filenames.
To rule out any possible problems, I tried removing a character by making it Episode 21- Over a Barrel.mp4 and it would work fine.
I also tried reconverting the video with Freemake Video Converter's Android Preset.

Lemme know if you come up with anything or if you need any testing or further info
