4G issues after S-OFF and GB RUU

I finally S-OFFed and flashed the latest GB RUU (2.01.605.11) after crippling battery life (~45 minutes of screen time) on the latest ICS RUU(3.14.605.5). So far battery life seems similar (maybe slightly better) but I've had issues with 4g today. 4G will work for a little bit but then just "crash" and I'll have no cell connectivity. Setting CDMA only in the settings works fine. I've just flashed the RUU a second time and still the same issue. Any suggestions?

My wife has a Rezound and it has had no 4G problems today. I've verified we're on the same radios and kernel, etc. I no longer have any heat problems which is nice, but I'd like to get the 4G working again and get the battery life back up to par.

Do a factory reset in HBoot

boot in to bootloader and select factory reset. that helped get my 4g working again

Looks good so far, thanks! What does the factory reset do? my /sdcard and /sd_ext were wiped by S-OFF so I guess there may have still been some config left on one of the other partitions?
