Default Need a DATA2SD (EXT3 )ROM

HI ,

I have the widlfire with the help of the forum I have managed to root the device to CWM 5.0.2.8 (My HBOOT is 0.80.0002) S-OFF

Now I want to have the DATA2SD on this device so as to increase the internal memory , say 512MB

I have searched the forum and the found a link about increasing internal memory , but that only supports 250mb I am looking for a memory of atleast 512MB or may be above

Certain script is available on the HTC Salsa section and seems very easy using the busybox .

Pls inform me any rom that by default creates or may be support the partition of ext-2 or ext 3
HTC Salsa XTC CLIP S-OFF ,Updated HBOOT (UNLOCKED), working ext-3 & Data2SD Script

You can flash darktremor script and use your ext partition with any rom.

EDIT-I guess you have posted in a wrong place, it should have been in a general topic.

hi ,

thanks for your prompt reply.
As instructed i have tried the
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...ght=darktremor

but my Beats Audio ROM does not seem to work with this .... do you think it is because of the HBOOT (old version) ...

Also I wanted to unlock the device & update the HBOOT using the HTCDEV.com but every time I select the HTC Wildfire and download the firmware it gives me error 130. I even tired the Wildfire WWE & HTC INDIA still it gives me the same error 'error 130 model id error'

I don't think it should matter much as you have gained s-off already.
Try this, flash darktremor script over your rom and then install a2sd gui from market and then move your apps through it.

May be you could try Link2sd app. Is the one I use, easy and reliable. The app creates its own sd-ext mounting scripts,so you only need to partition your sd and then install the app.You can download from market,or in its own xda thread.

Edit: link to rhe thread of Link2SD
