Chrack´s ICS 4.04 XXLRQ DBT Final Rom (Aroma installer)
This is the Final Version of my Rom.
With the new Aroma installer can you choose what for a Rom you will flash.
You can delete alot of Apps and you can install some Mods and add-ons
1. flash Rom and Mods/Add-ons you like
2. flash only Mods/Add-ons without flashing the complete Rom (Rom must install)
3. delete only Mods/add-ons without flashing the complete Rom
4. flashing Kernel and Modem
Follow changes are in the Final Rom:
- Apps in Settings and delete from Drawer are back:
noFrill / OTA Updater / Quickpanel Settings / CPU Spy / Fast Dormancy / CSC Code Change
- most tweaks deletet (Hydracore friedly)
- Hydracore 4.3b insert (choose Kernel in Aroma)
- Aroma fixes and changes
- 240DPI Support fix (choose in Aroma) (thx @ SOLOILMEGLIO from ITALY)
- USB Icon Bug fix
- EPM (Extendet Power Menue) (thx @ Eybee1970]
- OTA Updater fix (now you can download updates)
- some small system fixes
The rest is same as V15 Rom.

With this App you receive a Notification if i release a new Rom and you can download it directly to your Phone.
You don´t need to start the App, its find updates automatic, also if you reboot your Phone.

- Wuala Cloud - to store your Files on a Cloud (5GB)
- stock Phone - need for Cardoc (Call Rec Mod make FC in Cardoc)
- Xperia Album - very nice Gallery App
- AdAway - AdAway is the open source ad blocker
Launcher you can choose: - Apex Launcher
- Nova Launcher
- TW Launcher (stock)
For the Final i recomment to make a Fullwipe!
You can try to wipe chache and dalvic only, but if you have problems
make Fullwipe and look if the Problem is gone!
Info:
- 240 DPI don´t work with a TW Launcher!
But if you choose this Mod the Aroma will install Nova Launcher too
- recovery Mode booten
- Jbroid Kernel Cleaner (original) flashen jBroid_Kernel_Cleaning_Script_Ed-1.zip
- after that flash Abyss4.2 redpill
- reboot in Recovery (under Advanced )
- Wipe data/factory
- Wipe cache/dalvic
- flash my Rom
- choose in Aroma wipe data
OLD Flash instruction:
a) coming from a rooted GB-ROM:
- download Abyss Kernel 4.2 from here: http://www.mediafire.com/?c65mndvpk6ocbaa
- put zip-file on your USB-storage
- boot in Recovery
- Flash Abyss Kernel 4.2!!!
- boot back in recovery (you find this option under 'advanced')
- FullWipe
- Flash ROM
- reboot system
- ...you are done
==> there have been reported problems with a constantly rebooting system when doing installation coming from a GB-ROM as posted above! So the safe and 100% successful way is installing LPY Stock-ROM, root Stock ROM and then go on as described below under point b2). Do not ask for a tutorial on how to install and root LPY Stock ROM....it is describe enough here in Forum!
b1) coming from other rooted LQ3-ROM or rooted ICS Stock ROM (No Wipe):
- boot in Recovery
- Wipe Caches and Dalvik only!!! Don't FullWipe!!!
- Flash ROM
- reboot system
-...you are done
b2) coming from other rooted LQ3-ROM or rooted ICS Stock ROM (FullWipe):
- download Abyss Kernel 4.2 from here: http://www.mediafire.com/?c65mndvpk6ocbaa
- put zip-file on your USB-storage
- boot in Recovery
- Flash Abyss Kernel 4.2!!!
- boot back in Recovery (find it under 'advanced')
- now FullWipe!!!
- Flash ROM
- reboot system

c) coming from Chinese Leak or Derivates with Chinese Leak kernel:
- download Abyss Kernel 4.2 from here: http://www.mediafire.com/?c65mndvpk6ocbaa
- put zip-file on your USB-storage
- boot in Recovery
- Flash Abyss Kernel 4.2!!!
- boot back in Recovery (find it under 'advanced')
- now FullWipe!!!
- Flash ROM
- reboot system

d) coming from CM9, ROMs based on CM9 or other ICS AOSP ROM:
- boot in Recovery
- FullWipe
- Flash ROM
- reboot system
-...you are done
Whenever you do a FullWipe:
- install Abyss Kernel 4.2
- boot back in Recovery (find it under 'advanced')
- now FullWipe!!!
- Flash ROM
- reboot system
-...you are done ==> ONLY, ONLY, ONLY FullWipe with Abyss Kernel 4.2 installed!!!! NEVER, NEVER, NEVER Full Wipe with CF-Root Kernel installed!!!
Nandroid Backup and Restore:
You are able to do Full Nandroid Backups on CF-Root Kernel. But you have to restore them using Abyss Kernel 4.2!!!
If you try to Restore with CF-Root, your Restore will hang up and you will at least lose Root
seems like a great rom
can you ask one of the people that have the rom to upload it and post a link?
our previous version is German less international language, this version is international, therefore like you, I am also waiting to keep but not to flash.
