Thats cos it DID wipe your data anyway, that's what I set this rom as standard to do. Mainly because I knew people wouldn't do it.
But you should always triple wipe any new rom!

Plus i give these instructions in first post...

Installation

Please follow these simple instructions...

1-Triple wipe (data/cache/davlik)
2-Flash rom
3-Boot rom and setup (language/wifi etc)
4-Reboot to cwm (recovery)
5-Flash data2sd script provided
6-Reboot rom and enjoy new memory

Failure to follow any devs instructions means u don't care about much but yourself......i know i was in your place few years ago....and when u DO have a problem, and i or someone else ask.....did you do the triple wipe and u say NO, we say...sorry can't help you.

Have flashed the new V8 ROM and have been uing for more than 24Hrs...

My Opinion : AMAZING the Rom is Very Stable and Fast .

REQUEST :Can we have the option of more colors like , red, green or magenta where you have the Blue Color (in the application , like when we scroll the side bar its blue n if you pulldown the same further there are some shades of blue )simply love this

The Rom manager , in the given ROM asks me to install the CWM , although I have the CWM 5.0.2.8 installed already on my HTC Salsa..although I am more than happy to use the CWM using recovery , was just curious as the same problem was also there in my official rooted ROM , and this is a special ROM Cooked for HTC Salsa

The Cwm version you use is unstable. I've tried the higher versions and always went back to 5.0.2.6.
Being as we don't have alot of firmware and software there for us....we try others out.
Try reverting back to early version rom that i said....see if this corrects your problem.
I can certainly look into the colors for you, but at minute, I'm pushing to get new rom done today, and its not going well lol.

By the way guys I have backed up the HTC Sense launcher using Titanium backup and then installed the Arc ROM. After that I restored it. Result, I am using both of them alternately.

I am however facing an issue. The last time when I installed the Arc ROM, I backed up everything using Moborobo, did a triple wipe and installed the ext3 zip. The issue I am facing is sometimes the lockscreen button is not responding to wake the phone up. After multiple attempts, it is. Any solution?

Just tried out the holo ROM.. amazing.. any possibility of better lock screens and items like Torch, Screen Rotation, Vibration, etc on the notification tray like its there in HTC Thing?

How will u change ur notifcation tone when the rosie is removed.i might recommend to keep the rosie in system/app because u can't personalize ringtones so what is that we have to do is that,place even the launcher we are using and the rosie also and set the launcher as default....I had this issue I had sorted it out I think this might be helpful

now this is where u guys are used to Rosie lol...

To change notifications u go directly to Settings > Sound > Phone Ringtone
you can select whatever one u want and still import!
Same goes for notifications too.
The idea is u are using this rom without Rosie. leaving More memory available for use...by adding Rosie u defeat the object of even doing this rom variant as you will just waste memory and all the work ive done to get it this way.
As for lock-screen, its based around Rosie too, now i dont see an issue as i rarely use the lock-screen button anyway, only use dial-pad and thats it. I will be getting a new lock-screen soon.

I have tried the Xperia corners out, and it seems to not fit right, i am looking into that for version 2 arc, but it will take some time as i have some personal issues to deal with right now

Hey Mod.. I am a newbie here. I understand that you are responsible for many things here and I am sorry I interfered. All I wanted to say is I have used this ROM without wiping data/factory reset and there has been no issues at all. Just wiped cache partition, dalvik cache and battery stats. "

Check my first post again.....next time i won't help...you guys are not helping me at all and really making my work pointless now...
I cannot stress this enough....follow the rules or i will remove the lot like every other dev that helps us has!
