Default Can't factory reset Dinc/ partition issues.

Where to start...I've been running Business Ginger sense rom for a while now. I recently started to notice some decrease in performance so I decided it was time to change roms. I think it was Clutch. I wiped cache and the other partitions described in the install instructions and flashed using CWM. When clutch finally booted I was having force close errors and my apps were still on it.

Tried to do a factory restart and it didn't work, tried it from CWM. Decided to go back to stock and start over. RUU didn't work due to battery not being over 30 percent even though it was..ended up stuck in a bootloop with stock recovery and son. Hope was lost. Fast boot USB worked, but since no root or s-on couldn't do anything. Eventually discovered I could get ADB USB when it was stuck in the Droid eye during the Boot loop. Got back root, s-off and CWM 3.0. And now back to Business sense. But still having force close issues and not being able to do a fresh install of any other rom.

I think I have screwed up partitions. So I went and followed a thread that used Parted but couldn't put the files in /shin due to read-only issues. Found RA-inc recovery which has Parted installed. Tried parted, but it would give an error and suggest using the fsck tool included in the RA recovery and was getting super block errors. So I'm at a loss of whet to do. I'm using my stock Omnia 2 in the mean time so there's no rush, I just want my android phone back.

personally, I would use ROM manager (found in play store) to reflash CWM and try to do the factory reset in CWM (as well as wipe cache, system and go to advanced and wipe dalvik cache) then flash a ROM (I like CM7 but that is a personal preference) and if you are still having problems I would try backing up and then formatting your SD card to see if there might be something on there that is causing problems. Best of luck!

DONATE TO ME
I would do as sugested above and reflash the 5.0.2.0 cwm recovery. Then instead of a factory reset just go to the mounts and storrage menu in cwm recovery and format everything except emmc and sdcard, then flash a rom of your choosing. All your apps were still there because data didnt get wiped, this would also cause fc's and reboots.

update: upgraded to cwm 5. Radio 2.15.10.07.07, installed cm7. Still force closing. my issue is that my partitions are messed up.
Can't wipe data partition, error in cwm:

Error formatting /data
6 blocks group32768 blocks per group 32768 fragments per group
8112 I nodes per group
Super block backups stored on blobks 3276898304 163840
This file system already has a journal.....
Setting current mount count to 1
Failure while running mke2fs
Error formatting /data
Mtd: successfully wrote block at 0
I:set boot command ""

These super block errors are what's giving me issues when I go to repartition the internal storage
