Question [Q] Opening Instagram Links in app

So i downloaded Instagram and I don't use it much but often see links for instagram on Twitter. Plume is my app of choice but it doesn't support preview/opening instagram pics in the app. Everytime I click a link it has the option to open in instagram or my browser, but when i select Instagram all it does is take me to my page. is this a bug? Any way to get it to work? Luckily I didn't select "always perform this action" like i usually do otherwise I'd be stuck

After countless battery charge cycles from searching the Android Market, reading through never-ending forum thread debates, and the utter let downs at the lack of differences between the top 5 apps of any category, I have learned to find a theme I like FIRST, and use that to make my app choice.
