Default ROMs built for battery life

Sup,

Before you whine about people always asking about the best ROM/ Kernel combo, I'm not.

I want a basic ROM, that's all, none of this fancy ****. I was wondering... what are you guys using? Something simple and preferably AOSP. I'm posting here because I've had a terrible experience with the ROMs i've tried and I dont want to have to continually wipe my phone and install new ROMs and test them to see what whats. So post your combos and let me see.

Thanks.

Have you try SlimICS? For me, it has great battery life.
