DONT REPORT BUGS IN ROM HERE. HEAD TO ORIGINAL THREAD FOR SUPPORT
Hi,
I got many PMs from Ray/ARC-S/ARC/Neo/Neo-V users to find a Method to install JJ's Hybrid ROM for Those with Locked Bootloaders...
YOU MUST HAVE OFFICIAL ICS INSTALLED ALREADY..
Before trying this method, you should know how to restore Phone using SEUS update for just incase if anything goes wrong...
I got idea from Arc user Flyigwho gave a method and that might work... its not tested yet...
Follow the Steps as described below...
1) Root with 'Root_Exploit_OneClick'. If you have already Rooted then there is no need to Root again...
If not then Follow Steps Blelow
a) Turn ON USB Debugging mode on your Xperia Phone and
b) Tick mark Unknown Resources
c) Extract the zip file Root_Exploit_OneClick.zip to your desktop
d) Attach the phone to pc, Open the 'run me' batch file. Phone will restart few 2-3 times and when it boots to Desktop, you will have Superuser application installed which is sign of successfull Root..
2) Install CWM Recovery Again if you have CWM Recovery installed then you dont need to do this step
If not then just download the Application
Now download 'Xperia CWM Auto-installer' by pvyParts to install CWM recovery..
3) Download CWM Backups (THESE ARE NOT FLASHABLE ZIPS)
Extract it and copy to the SD Card to folder clockworkmod/backup/
4) Reboot to Recovery by pressing Volume Down key when blue LED light blinks or the Display brights up
5) In CWM Recovery, First do Full wipe then Go to Backup and Restore Menu.
Choose Restore and Select JJ'sHybrid ROM (if you copied it in correct path) and RESTORE...
Now Boot the ROM after Restore is complete...
Hopefully the ROM will be rooted by default.. If not then Follow One click Root method and Root it.. and Install CWM Recovery again using Xperia CWM Auto-installer..
INCASE THE METHOD DOESNT WORK OR YOU ARE STUCK WITH A BOOTLOOP then JUST RESTORE VIA SEUS UPDATE OR FLASH FTF..
Now Follow the guide test it yourself and Let me know if it works...
