SGT7 is the custom ROM by the guys who brought ICS/CM9 to the OG Galaxy Tab

Initially it supported only the first tab, but now we've decided to support other tablets as well, so here it is!

It's based on CyanogenMod 9, and will continue being to be so.

In short, it's a heavily modded CyanogenMod for tablets, fully opensource

You're looking for zips with p4, p4 = 3G tab, p4tmo = T-Mobile tab, p4vzw = Verizon Wireless Tab, p4wifi = Wifi-only tab
Also available via Goo Manager

Installation and bugs are also same as CyanogenMod 9, so read the below linked threads as well :

Since neither of us has the device personally, the builds are untested, and we rely on you, the users, to help us.

Report anything wrong with the ROM, and what you'ld like to see in it.

(Do not report device-specific issues, i.e. stuff not working on CM9, report only stuff that you saw as a setting and didn't work as expected)

Lastly, thanks to the CyanogenMod team, for all their work, and thanks to the guys who ported ics to this tab.

It's just meant to be an addition of tablet specific tweaks to CM, and we might look forward to merging this functionality into CM later on, but for now, have fun with this.

I plan on doing weekly builds on my personal pc, or when a big feature is released / something big is fixed (device specific), i'll try to release a new build

How are you downloading without the upload getting finished ?

Ohh, great news this. I have ordered my tab and waiting desperately to flash it once the tab arrives. You guyz rock, I already tried CM9 on my sgt7 by u and ur team. Thanks

I know... LOL.. I was jumping the gun a little too soon... Will wait for upload to finish... Then Will download... Im just so happy there is a new build out..

I see ~45 downloads for the p4 rom, and i'm sure not all of them failed.

try redownloading, using a different browser, or the goo manager app

Have a feeling you are seeing hung sessions. I just killed too in goo from my tab. Trying again in goo and does the countdown and then nothing. After a moment goes back to the Begin Download page and then it picked up the previous 2 downloads I killed. I may now have 4 of those hung sessions. If you can kill them from your end, I would.
Regardless, I must try your rom, whenever we get the download sorta. thanks for the efforts


Update: Just tried in a different browser (chrome) and it appears to have downloaded.
