USB connector

Ok. This is probably a weird question, but I'm asking it anyway. Sorry in advance if this should be in the "questions" thread.

I use my Fire A LOT! As a result, I have to plug the charger into the usb port daily to charge it. My experience with other devices has made me aware that this can result in the connector within the device breaking, which means no more charging until I get it fixed.

I was wondering if there was something out there that I could leave attached to my Fire' usb port, and attach the charger via that instead of constantly plugging it directly into my Fire. This would be for charging only, not data transfer and such.

I searched, but am not sure if I entered the correct search terms. Is there anything like this available?

What cheap devices are you using that you're constantly breaking the connector? I've never had that happen to me with any device, and it shouldn't happen unless you try to force it in the wrong way.

I've had a Blackberry and two other cell phones that were unable to charge because the port on the phone would no longer make connection.

None of them were "cheap devices" and I am not stupid enough to "force them in the wrong way".

i think hes looking at something like that but with a smaller cord
