Default Screenshot app?

This may have been asked and answered a thousand times but doing a search on "screenshot app " brings up pages of crap heh. I am on stock rooted 181. Is there a native way to do a screenshot and if not is there a good app out there that one can recommend?

Does holding the power+volume down work? I know it works on my leaked ics. 206.

Screencast works best for me on stock rooted ginger. Allows you to create video as well.
Sadly it doesn't work well on ics
