Multitouch is still in fact an issue. Releasing one finger off of digitizer will then make the OS think u released both fingers. Still an issue but will be fixed ASAP.

To maintain GPL compliance, HTC "has" to release source within "90" days of the release of the phone.
Keep calm and flash on...

I watched a bit of the video of Steve Kondik and a few other members of the CM team that, I believe, was recorded just before I/O. In it, and please correct me if I am wrong, I thought he said that Android was based off the Linux kernel but it was under the Apache license and the Apache license doesn't require the source to be released. I know that it's common for source to be released but I think back to Honeycomb which wasn't released by Google until the release of ICS. I'm sure HTC will release the source eventually but from what I got from the video I don't think it's required. I'll admit I haven't read either of the licenses so I really don't know, I may be totally mistaken.

From my understanding, the core backbone of android is the linux kernel. That is licensed with GPL. No matter who uses the linux kernel it will always be GPL and therefore all changes must be made public. Android is licensed under Apache. The means all changes made to the core android os are not required to be released. That's why HTC can create something like htc sense and not share the source code to how they did it. Because android is under Apache. All companies must release any changes to the linux kernel though. So basically different core functions of android are using two different licenses. Kernel=GPL, Android=Apache

That was pretty much my understanding, the kernel needs to be released under GPL but everything else isn't required to be released under Apache. Any changes anyone makes to the Linux kernel needs to be published, assuming HTC or whomever doesn't make any changes to the kernel they're not compelled to release anything because they're just using the kernel that was released by Google. As for drivers and UI/UX components, those are under Apache and, therefore, aren't required to be released. At least that's my understanding. That being said, I still think HTC will release the code, I just think they don't feel any rush and they'll do it when they see fit. It's just, from my understanding, I don't think there's any 90 days, 120 days, or whatever that people have been talking about requirement for them to do it. Again, that is unless they modified the kernel and then they'd be required to publish those changes.

I don't know if I'd say that's an "issue". This occurs with the stock ROM as well.
Anyone else getting a 1x for their data. Not showing 3G at all

It shows 1x for me whenever I have a crap signal. But 3g does indeed work and show when on 3g. Have you tried changing to cdma/lte and toggling airplane mode off and on?
