Default MFG Application, registry editor not working

From time of last update which brought Internet sharing via Wifi, I have a problem with MFG Application. I am not sure that this is problem started after this particular update, but befor Mango update everything was working ok. The problem is that editing any registry key does not really work. Of course editing and reading key value brings exact value, but this value does not influent on device and reading any specific key that I was expecting to exist bring some strange value (in case of DWORD is "big numer" like 64490896). Those strange values usually means that key does not exists. I suspect MFG Application lost some kind of administration rights and works inside some kind of isolated space, so does not edit global registry keys. Can anyone confirm this? Can anyone give me some kind of tested registry keys with value, that I could try to read on my device|

Both slash and backslash are supported, also all inputs are case insensitive. It seems that some registry keys may be moved or changes access rights.

Thats strange, I have just checked some random key and it wasn't existing with \ or /, then created key with \ in path and twin key with / in path also appeared.

PS Can anyone give me a key which should exists? If possible with not so many letters in key path.

if you have still problems, try this app:

WP7 Root Tools

http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1265321

with this you have the possibility to change the Registry values
