It worked perfect for me. The only problem I found is when I connect my Arc S (LT18i) to PCCompanion it detects it as LT15i.

Is really a problem? Is there any solution?

Thanks again!

You've probably downloaded the firmwares and kernel for LT15i and not the LT18i, the only solution is to reflash it with the LT18i

Sorry, I forgot to mention it. I used LT18i versions to flash:
- 1_lt18i_4.1.B.0.431_kernelDowngrade.ftf: to downgrade from 4.0.4 to 4.0.3 (to be able to root because I had updated to 4.0.4 previously).
- lt18i_4.1.B.0.431_kernel only.ftf: to upgrade again.

Thanks again.

Thumbs up :D

Thanks alot for this .I updated from 4.0.3 to 4.0.4 via the update service and found that i lost my root after the update. This just worked! Flashed the 4.0.3 kernel, rooted and flashed back the 4.0.4 kernel. I just had my phone a few days back and I have already learned so much via this forum.Might seem off-topic but Thank you Guys! From rooting, to flashing and other crap you have taught .
