if you delete telephony.apk phone.apk and wifi calling the fc stops but then it isnt much of a phone lol

so this is inquiring about the sdcard/external_sd

i installed the swap apk that swaps the external_sd with the sdcard
is there a way to partition the now external_sd (phone's original memory) to the main memory

I tried rooting my phone with the CWM (I'm on stock everything right now) through the recovery menu, it seemed to work? when I installed it, but I still don't have root access

I'm on 2.3.6 with the latest samsung kernal. What do I do?

CWM alone does not provide root. You need a custom kernel 1.8 or a custom ROM.

any particular uses for it, seeing as i have an 8gb microsd, so i'm guessing it's just gonna sit there unused
does CM9 treat this memory as sd and mount microsd as /external_sd/?
