Since we don't have S-OFF, wouldn't this be impossible to accomplish? Could be wrong, it's been known to happen

Which part - what scene? Making a flashable zip is easy enough, Just need the proper images and resolution.

Also, need to know the name of the default bootanimation. I think EVO 4G is SPC_bootanimation.zip

and location is: system/customize/resource ?

Do you have root explorer?

If so, go copy your current boot animation and upload it here. Should be in system/customize/resource

Of course it should tell the screen size in the settings.

However, I would prefer the original boot animation if you are able. Because I do not have an EVO. I was just lurking through the new posts and saw this.

May need someone else to make it flashable - but you can always install it through root explorer.

Sorry for not explaining it better.

You must be rooted and have system file access *super user* access.

If you have a file explorer to where you can see system files (Root Explorer, etc.)
You will need to open that app and navigate to system/customize/resource.

In there you should find a file named bootanimation.zip or SPC_bootanimation.zip, something like that.

From there you should be able to copy that file and paste it somewhere on your SD card.

You can pull that file from your SD card to your computer.

There are other ways but this is the simplest since it employs common computer tasks. COPY, PASTE, and transferring files from phone to computer.

Then you can upload it here as an attachment.

Or, if anyone else is reading this, please post the original boot animation from your Phone.
