How are you guys getting $50 gift cards from BB? I ordered mine on the 8th and it still says backordered. I ordered from bestbuy.com

Phone Freedom promotion which you had to sign up for early in the year.

Darn, I didn't sign up for it. Oh well, on a brighter note, BB just charged my card for the phone and the status changed from back ordered to in process of shipping. I used to have the option to cancel but I no longer have that option (not that I would have anyway)

I am still waiting to hear anything about the in store pre-order that I did on 6/15. It was for a white GS3 for AT&T. The associates at the store couldn't really tell me anything other than that is had been ordered. They were not even able to differentiate between what were in store pre-orders and incoming stock in the system. (The computer showed 8 white AT&T incoming with 0 being in transient)

When I preordered my phone at the Best Buy Store, my receipt says they will contact me via email when the phone is available. I do not remember them even asking me my email so I am not even confident they have it. When you preordered in store, did they send you a confirmation email or something showing you did preorder? Right now, all I have have is my paper they printed out, but I have not received any type of emails or correspondences since I walked in the store on June 6th.



Also, it says if the date where to change from the delivery date on our paper (which states June 21) that best buy will contact you! Again, I have not received any emails or contacts saying anything from Best Buy about where these phones are or when they expect them. However, it says right there on my paper that they will contact me if they are not available on that date.


So, did any of you that preordered in store receive a confirmation email or anything OTHER than your receipt? Did any of you receive an email from Best Buy stating that these have been delayed or when they expect them, as the receipt says they will contact you if not received on the date?

I received zero notification that it was delayed, only the initial pre-order confirmation and the ready for pickup mail yesterday.

When did you order?

I went to BB around 3:30pm. They told me they did receive a few for sprint but they weren't expecting any ATT GS3's until first week of July. I told them ATT told me the 25th but they said they got pushed back again. This is in Lake Worth, Tx (near Fort Worth)

I was in BB by Stonebriar Mall in Frisco and casually asked if they had any S3s. He said they did get a bunch in today, but they could not give out any until tomorrow due to Samsung not giving them any info on whose is whose (I think this has been mentioned earlier in the thread, mixed up SKUs). He did not specify which carrier. I did not preorder.

My wifes S3 came in today in white. I must admit, its the best looking white phone I have ever seen.

I can't wait for Radio Shack to get my blue one in, and the S3 screen is beautiful b.c.
