SE Xperia Pro (MK16a)
ROM: CyanogenMod 7.2.0 UNOFFICIAL (FXP130)
Bootloader: Unlocked
Kernel: 2.6.32.9 FXP root@ubuntu #5
Recovery: CWM-based Recovery v5.0.2.8

OK now I recognize this error. No such device
This happens when you try to change your MAC Address which is not valid.
Can you tell me what MAC Add were you trying to change to?

Otherwise search on Google for Valid MAC address.
You can validate your MAC Address here:
http://www.coffer.com/mac_find/
http://aruljohn.com/mac.pl

These sites will validate your MAC Address and tell you the name of the vendor who use that MAC in their devices.
If the MAC is valid it will return with a vendor name.

I tried the MAC address you provided as well as changing to the same address which it is now, apart from several others. Also, please note the first error (when wifi turned on). IMO that is more relavant.

Well, then if you think the message during WiFi is ON is correct then try the steps with your WiFi ON but don't connect it to any network.

Now I know what the problem was...
This trick I had posted earlier works on Baseband .72 .
So I think you need to update to that baseband.
