Hi all,

I'm from malaysia and using the same set as picture above, i9220 with the OS 4.1.5. I have read all the post here, but still not very clear on how to flast the rom. My stock OS got problem with the 3G signal and sometimes got hang and need to remove the battery. My questions here, I notice that if I press Power button + Volume(+), at boot up, the screen will go to the menu which can do the update from the SD card. Can I use this method to flash the Taiwan ROM?

the back look like Star N8000 but mine is i9220 mtk6575.

i just flashed with stock firmware 9 May, my screen look terrible, but all the function is ok. but i need the original back [/QUOTE]

just one problem the imei is missing, im using IMEI Change For Mtk6575 but FAIL.. any guide?

better stick with the firmware... i just lost hope, but thanks to our friends here to give me some help, our phone is not fully N8000...

I use this, very simple n effective change your IMEIs by using ZOPO IMEI ( Thanks to colouriste )

1. REMOVE SIM CARD(S) FIRST !
2. Check "Dual Imei"
3. Type in original IMEI #'s 1 & 2 and then
4. Click "Write"

ive phone same as u, this phone as problem with 3G (my gsm line will intermittenly drop signal when 3G is on ) even on original firmware.. ive try 3 rom from star n8000 but didnt fix the 3G problem. maybe v4.0.4 will fix this??

About flashing u can refer to first post or haipai i9220 thread, there r many tutorial around..

Hi, I installed 12/6 rom with 2,5gv2...everything ok (wifi,gps,ac sensor) and no problem in "out of memory" but with minor apps appears "this app could not be installed in usb or sd memory".
I set "install only in internal memory", sd card works fine (route 66 works)...so it seems that app2sd doesn't work.
Does anyone know anything?

Hi, if you use 2,5g patch, it changes your firmware version, you should use the 2gb patch and all will works fine, try it
Change to 12 06 firmware and install 2gb patch
