Yes, I did it several days ago (i also did upload to my dropbox, just how someone said....) xD
I followed some commands that intended to do that:
Code:
adb shell
su
cat /dev/block/mmcblk1p18> /sdcard-ext/mmcblk1p18-back
I had an archive of 200mb (more or less).

Honestly, should y try to do this, or you would recommend me to wait..?
if I erase an then restore my CIDnum / partition, there would be any kind of problems with my device once the original EU ICS is deployed..??

Thanks for the answers..

But, wait! You wanna restore your cid after flashing brasil ics? Is your razr Latam?

If you have a latam razr, then follow the above thread stangri said, if your razr isn't latam, you just need to flash the latam update fix and update your ics, but you can't restore your cid or you'll get stuck.

Also, you should do another cid backup, just in case:

Code:
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk1p18 of=/sdcard-ext/mmcblk1p18.img

Cheers

Nop... I have the european version... XD
I think i am going to wait, but i want to know, just in case...
So the steps are this ones im on the UEleak:
Backup CID several times.
Via CWM flash that FIX that automatiacally restores the brazilian system, boot and recovery.
Flash the BR. OTA via moto recovery.
Boot with BPtools.
Root again.
Restore CID with commands provided.
Reboot.

Enjoy........?? XD

Not really. The update fix must run from PC. And, you can't restore cid with Brazilian ics on it

I don't get the chance to do a system update though.

Edit: Nevermind, I am stupid and now I've figured it out. Thanks everyone!

Does anyone else on Rogers have issues picking up Data?
You have probably figured it out by now but you need to set your APN

MMS and Internet settings:

MMSC: http://mms.gprs.rogers.com
MMS Proxy: 10.128.1.69

Hi, how was your jump to ICS LATAM? any problems so far? I wanted to do the same but I'm actually worried that I might get myself into a big problem. Can you please tell me your current experience with the update? How did the ICS version reacted with your phone and stuff? Hoping to hear your insights, thanks!

Hi!

It's safe and runs flawless. You'll feel like you had win a new phone. Take your time for reading another rogers/fido reports in this thread.

Your razr is latam, will work perfect, don't worry. Just follow all the procedure and hints on the thread, like charging it 100%, downloading correct files..

It's not that hard. Also, when another update for our latam phones comes out we're able to jump to.

Cheers

Also please use a usb 2.0 connector. I think there are some issues with adb/RSDLite not working on certain usb 3.0 ports as I'm seeing issues flashing items using the usb 3.0 ports on my motherboard(hey work fine and im quite certain its something software wise thats causing it).

I changed the mmb18(something) file to the one for the BP bypass (chinese) is it possible to install this rom in my phone, I mean, downgrade to 2.3.6 (stock LATM) and than flash the LATM ICS?
I know I will still have to use the BP bypass, but does this file work for any fastboot region?
