However, have you installed ODIN 4.43 on your PC [confirm you are using Windows OS...ODIN is for Windows]?

Before you connect your Phone, be sure you have it in "Download Mode"... check tutorials to know how to get into DL mode....

basically, start phone holding Power+Vol Down+Home Key until you see logo....then release Power..

You should then see warning screen. Then press the Vol-Up rocker button...

This should bring you to Download Mode.

From this screen you should connect to PC with USB cord, with ODIN running, as above!!.

Also, make sure no instance of Kies is running on your PC...

use "Task Manager" on Windows to check...kill any instance!! [Kies and ODIN do not work well together]

This has happened to me sometimes. One issue to look at is that I have seen cases where a corrupted microSD gets the phone stuck at that point. I'm not sure what causes it, but it's worth trying it to remove the microSD and boot again.

Also as everyone has said, go into Recovery and wipe the data partition, clear cache, etc.
