Default [ROM] Linaro optimized CM9 build

Pulled the patches from gerrit as well as the hand merged and compiled CM9 with linaro gcc 4.6.

Which gcc4.6 release?
And more importantly, what gain were you able to register?

No discernible performance difference, by feel or benchmark to my noob eye. Antutu'd at 6100 on the stock kernel/settings which is normal. Some graphical glitches when exiting apps. The standard ICS animation scales were slightly more tolerable than normal, or that could be wishful thinking.

A ton of Linaro related commits and a lot of work to do to make it all work I'm sure; hope to see them merged officially soon.

my point exactly. if it is linaro 4.6, both 4.6 and 4.7 are for download, you don't have to depend on the debian/ubuntu repository.
