Default SuperICS 1.02

Hi All! I was reading about SuperICS and also downloaded kernel 1.02. After reading some posts in this thread, I found an alert about hard brick bug. I downloaded the app to find out if my phone had the faulty chip, and yes... it is faulty. My phone is actually loaded with stock ICS ROM XXLPQ, and the phone model is GT-I9100G. I have rooted it. So here is my question: Is it safe or safer to update the current kernel to SuperICS 1.02? Is it "recommended" or it should be "avoided" such update? I'm a bit new to smartphones, this is my first one. I appreciate your help, and sorry for my english, I hope you had understood my post. Thank you.

It is posted in this forum in another thread, but I have just found a new utility at google play, search for it "emmc brickbug". If your phone is root, you can also check memory blocks, i'm just testing the phone with it as I'm writing this reply. Bye.
