I agree, wholeheartedly.

Mrg, are the notification bar icons supposed to stay green after applying your blue theme? There's also a bit of orange left on the recent apps menu that comes up by long pressing the home button. There's an orange outline when an app is chosen.

Yes, I left them green. If you want completely blue, you can get ACHEP's ICS theme. There is a link in the third post. The orange outlines are due to some apps ignoring the system colors.

Thank you for your answer and my apologies for not fully reading the opening posts.

I was doing more testing and I have found that it still possible to break the sound in video recording if I simply plug in the headphones and pull out before starting the camera app. There are two ways to resolve this temporarily. If you do a quick reboot in Links2SD (it takes 15-20 seconds) camera records video with sound after that. If you disable the shutter sound in camera, this problem does not happen.

I am looking into this and will post here when I can find a permanent solution. Since quick reboot does not reboot the kernel, I am thinking the fix could be in the Android OS. It would be great if you know and post a link to any discussion about such a problem in another CM7 system.

Thanks for the latest update.

I've been on a bunch of roms, but this is definetly my favorite. It's fast, lean, looks great, and it just works!...

Yay! My most favorite-est Gingerbread ROM! Peppy, reliable, full-of-awesome!

I haven't updated my Recovery in awhile. What's the latest-and-greatest that we should be using? I'm currently using the CWM-Green Recovery v5.0.2.8.

I am using CWMT recovery for its touch controls instead of wrangling with the tiny buttons. I also keep BobZ recovery and the VM update on the SD card in case the stock ROM is needed.

I don't think you need to change your recovery if it is working for you, if you have tested the critical features. I would keep the one that works.

Drew's latest is here
