TF101 Speakers not working
Received my TF101 yesterday, had honeycomb, tried netflix, youtube etc, no sound from the speakers, sound works thru headphones only. upgraded to ICS, still did not work. Called Asus support did wipe-data, hard reset/ reboot still no help. tried ICS upgrade again, still the same. Asus said i have to send it for repair or return to vendor.
I found this a page on asus web-site about the issue, it says by default speakers are volume mute, hit Fn + F7 key to turn them on. I don't have a keaboard dock, how to do it?
Anyone had the same issue and how did you resolve it? i really don't want to return the tab cowboom. wondering if tab was originally returned to best buy due to the speakers issue.

Solution Linux:
1. System has been set as “Volume mute”. Please press Fn+ F7 to enable speaker.
2. Please click the Diagnostic Tool icon under the Setting Tab==>System Test==>Audio, and test it.
3. Please restore the system for a try.
4. If it is a hardware related problem, please contact the local service center.
XP:
1. System has been set as “Volume mute”. Please press Fn+ F7 to enable speaker.
2. Reinstall the audio driver.
3. Using the support DVD or hard disk partition (requires a recovery partition) to restore the system for a try.
