what have i de it is stuck in boot loop with this damn clock work recvry screen cant get any drivers loaded and cant get any one click to see it and hep....send help please

TF101 Speakers not working

Received my TF101 yesterday, had honeycomb, tried netflix, youtube etc, no sound from the speakers, sound works thru headphones only. upgraded to ICS, still did not work. Called Asus support did wipe-data, hard reset/ reboot still no help. tried ICS upgrade again, still the same. Asus said i have to send it for repair or return to vendor.

I found this a page on asus web-site about the issue, it says by default speakers are volume mute, hit Fn + F7 key to turn them on. I don't have a keaboard dock, how to do it?

Anyone had the same issue and how did you resolve it? i really don't want to return the tab cowboom. wondering if tab was originally returned to best buy due to the speakers issue.

1. System has been set as “Volume mute”. Please press Fn+ F7 to enable speaker.

XP:

1. System has been set as “Volume mute”. Please press Fn+ F7 to enable speaker.
2. Reinstall the audio driver.
3. Using the support DVD or hard disk partition (requires a recovery partition) to restore the system for a try.

It really does sound like a hardware issue, you certainly dont need the dock to mute/unmute. Id send it in if I was you.

You need to get drivers working or you can't do anything, try plugging it into a linux machine.

One again, is all dev the same for TF300T and TF101 ? Cause I fond an interseting TF300T

Two different devices, very few things will work on both, I don't suggest trying anything super dangerous :P

Thanks. i am sending it back to cowboom. liked the resolution, look and feel etc (i wish screen was 4:3), but...
will order another one.

Ok, so I've flashed all 3 JB ROMs, and each give me the same issue, when my TF goes to sleep the screen is frozen when I wake it with the power button. Any ideas on fixing that or is it a known ROM issue?

I've the same question with TF101G ?

Is dev the same as tf101 ?
