I've noticed this too, they seem to take forever to turn off after you reboot, but give it sometime, and they turn off like normal and yes, the world clock (JOYCLOCK) does have some chinese in it unfortunately :/ and I suggest just download another clock app

just rooted this optimus v just flashed this rom,gonna give it a run,great job to all of those involved in bringing this rom to life.it looks good

Try going into cyanogenmod settings, and enabling surface dithering
