Yea, I got to play with a Bell One V and I can confirm it does not have HTC linkify either. I read on one of the tech blogs that only U.S.A released phones on ics, or upgraded to ics have it, in other words, all sense 3.6 and 4.0 phones (once again, U.S.A only). I also have played with a Telus One S and a Rogers One X and no linkify on those either.
The One V has yet to see a U.S release so no One V models anywhere should have it.
I think it might be fun to get it working (if that was the o.p's intent) just to see how much it sucks compared to the functionality I have had on all my pda / wimno / android phones for as long as I can remember. Then again, in the U.S. Apple was just granted a general design patent that covers any clamshell laptop type design in which the side profile is slightly wedge shaped. As far as I can tell, two of my three laptops, (one is a netbook), and the transformer prime violate that new patent. Before anyone says I have too many toys, Family of six and not all the toys are mine!
Now to get back to convincing my Wife to let me buy the One V so my 14 year old son (the one with the transformer prime) can inherit my desire!
