This is an ongoing developer project to make way for a modification that will entirely transform your device, but retain the aesthetics and the experience of your phone.

1) Download:
ROM
Gapps-Hybrid: Official - Mirror (Not latest)

2) Backup
3) Format SYSTEM, DATA, CACHE, and DALVIK-CACHE
4) Flash ROM
5) Flash gapps-Hybrid


:: Go to Settings, System, Font size, set it to NORMAL
:: Check "Auto Hide" in Settings, System, Statusbar, to finally get Fullscreen (or Hold power button, and press "Toggle StatusBar")
:: Launcher Settings: margins: SMALL (If youre using Apex / Nova), show permanent searchbar: YES, Grid: 5x4, resize all widgets: YES, Wallpaper scrolling: OFF

Hybrid speedup, less lag, considerably faster list scrolling when pad/pal is in action
Keyboard scaling, an androids first
PAD/PAL bugfixes for apps that still crop images in lower dpis
Settings revamp, speed preferences to switch between modes without having to set up anything, less clutter
Trebuchet extras: 3x4 widgets, speed dial menu button, ... and some weird rocket button which im sure will be very useful to most of you
Pad.prop revamp, new preferences that should pretty much nail it. Im sorry but this trashes your old settings again, do not attempt to restore them unless you do it in a text editor
A warning: if you need to scale keyboards, do close their hosts first (that is, if you have the keyboard running in chrome, close chrome, then attempt to change the size). Otherwise you run into caching problems. Also not that some keyboards use fixed layouts and others dont. Should one of your keyboards not scale, just leave it at PhoneUI/DPI and be happy about those that do scale.

Info.
android - framework-res, applies to lockscreen, dialogs, powermenu, toasts
systemUI - applies to the navigationbar, makes it bigger or smaller. DO NOT APPLY an UI to these two apps. everything else is fine, set it to tablet or phoneUI all you want, but not these two!

How To Turn Off Softkeys Backlight
1) Download Lights Library Config
2) Flash zip in recovery
3) Launch terminal or any linux shell application
4) Gain root permissions by executing 'su'
5) Execute 'liblights.sh'
6) Follow on-screen instructions

Editing pad.prop in version 1.2 for Hybrid Mode

• Use ParanoidAndroid Backup app to back up Current pad to SDCard
• Location will be /sdcard/paranoid_backup/
• You can either edit on your phone or edit it on computer. Make backup 1st in case you don't like your changes and don't remember what the initial values were
• Once changes are saved, Use the Parandroid Backup app to Restore preferences

Note - some values will appear right away, others may need the phone to reboot to close and restart the app

application name.dpi=rom_phone_base (Sets the default resolution for the application)
application name.mode=1 (Sets default mode for the application)

application name - com.android.contacts, ect
dpi - You can simply name the dpi like 240 or add a setting like rom_mid_dpi=160 and just use the name whenever you want to set the app dpi to that.
mode -1 = Phone mode
2 = Tablet mode

There is a gapps-hybrid package that needs to be flashed

forgot to include my buttons backlight patch. updated OP with the link. sorry

Since its aosp as far as kernel should we run stock or aero's?
