V2 runs perfect - no problems so far! Get also very good battery-life with stock-kernel and with new SpeedMod also a perfect combination.
SM is in deepsleep/standby better.

Okei, now it installed. It took me about 6-7 times to download and install before finally succeeding.

I finished backing up with Titanium and was going to flash the stock rom. Literally two seconds before I pressed the power button to start the flashing, I got the message "Vignette installed succesfully". I lost track of time, but installing this 193Kb app took maybe 1h 30 min total.

This did not happen with stock ROM or wanamlite v1.8...

Would there be some setting or apps that are causing this? Updating apps became really PITA.

I actually noticed something strange when flashing back to 2.0 after trying the AOSP JB rom that has been floating around. When I tell it to update all apps that haven't had permission changes, it gets stuck downloading the first one. However, upon restarting my phone, all the updates I downloaded install itself one by one without hassle. Everything works fine, but I thought this was a strange behavior.

Tried a clean install without TiBU freezing or uninstalling anything with Wanam2.0 and stockmod kernel

Wifi direct is 100% working.

I usually uninstall via TiBu these items... maybe one of them affects the wifi direct?

Here's what I did,
reflashed the ROM, on stockmod kernel and tried wifi direct (WD) - OK

removed all the aforementioned apps except Samsung Accounts(recommended by Eiraku) and tried WD - OK

flashed Siyah1.4, removed Samsung Accounts and tried WD - OK

now... I really don't know why it previously was not working.. probably something went wrong with the previous flash of either the rom or the kernel

u don't have to wipe...but it's always recommended to full wipe for best performance

I had the same problem on s2. The only way i could resolve it was to remove my google account under Settings>Accounts and sync then reboot phone. Opened up play store and re-added my google account and it worked fine after that.

So I''ve spent a couple of days running the jelly bean roms that have been popping up over the last few days ... all of them have ended up in issues with titanium backups, sd card issues, camera lag ... etc, to the point that I couldn't even install a backup of this rom!

So as slick as jelly bean is I''ve ended up doing a clean reinstall of this rom .. gonna slick with this till a JB version comes out ...

Same here. Coming from htc desire i was very sceptical of touchwiz but every time i try an JB-rom i actually miss touchwiz and the smoothness of wanamlite. v2 i perfect.
