Default Android Update

When I restarted my phone yesterday the screen flashed "updating Android and now my ICS feels smoother than its ever been since the upgrade. Anybody know about the update?

Phone info shows the following
Baseband UVLE1
build number IML74K.UVLE1
Kernel
CL508451 May 06 2012

That's just a normal thing...you're phone was rebuilding it's cache...that's not a software update...

Im sure this has been answered but i just got my s2 a couple months ago and im scared for anything to happen to it. Its 'my baby' lol. But i love custom roms and having the latest os but im so scared to break this phone ive been hesitant to even upgrade to official ics. Is it worth the upgrade? And should i start flashing roms yet?

Man you're missing out... If you brick you're phone while flashing official ICS you're something else man... Just connect it to Kies and and do it
