[Q] Gps APOCALYPSE rom

Hi everyone and thanks to itasoulas for this great rom!
Since I was on MIRACLE I had a problem with the gps (at most 2 fix satellites) but I solved by deleting the /data/gps/secgps.conf and using this gps.conf (I live in NYC):

NTP_SERVER=0.north-america.pool.ntp.org
NTP_SERVER=1.north-america.pool.ntp.org
NTP_SERVER=2.north-america.pool.ntp.org
NTP_SERVER=3.north-america.pool.ntp.org
SUPL_HOST=supl.google.com
SUPL_PORT=7276

Now this does not work anymore on APOCALYPSE...
I remember that there was another file in the data/gps folder...maybe someone on MIRACLE can post it so I can try.
Suggestions?

Edit: Gps fixed after 8 minutes. Not good but at least it works...

Have you followed these instructions?

Finishing GPS Set-Up
1. go to system/etc/gps.conf
2. use root explorer, long press that file and open with text editor
3. replace "europe" with your region according to this guide

NTP_SERVER=3.europe.pool.ntp.org

NTP_SERVER=3.asia.pool.ntp.org

NTP_SERVER=2.oceania.pool.ntp.org
NTP_SERVER=3.oceania.pool.ntp.org

NTP_SERVER=0.north-america.pool.ntp.org

4. Save file, no permissions needs to be changed. The .bak file can be safely deleted

GPS seems to work fine for me!

Yes I replaced europe with north-america, tryed also with fasterGPS, but fix is so slow...anyway I don't need GPS right now but I'd like to solve it . I'm sure that with other roms (also with miracle) there's another file in the data/gps folder but don't know if it's crucial.

Have you tried the Lagloose's GPS Fix yet?

It works! I just changed the ntp server with "us.pool.ntp.org". Now my Apocalypse is simply perfect! Thank you!

Try "fastergps "
app from play store, it does the job for u.

Why use an additional app if you can just correct your inbuilt system.
