Default Kernel source from Samsung?
Is the github kernel the same kernel that Samsung listed for the SPH-L710 on thier Open Source Release site?

Yes, it is. Its also up under the SGS3 orginization, just to keep everything together: https://github.com/sgs3/SPH-L710_Kernel

Can't wait for the devs to get their phones and see if we can combine all the US forums.

This is excellent news! The development on other phones I had was a bit slow because the source kernel was never posted by the manufacturer. Here Samsung posts the source before everyone even has the phone. This forum is going to explode.

I wonder how many Evo 4G (OG) people are coming over to the S3.

I am still so in love with my phone, it will be hard to let it go, but I'm brining my sister over to Sprint, so she will take that and at least it will stay in the family.

Really hoping we get some top-quality devs like the EVO forums had. I really had a full assortment of ROM's of top quality to choose from.

WOOT!!!!!!

I am from an Evo 4G; got my S III in today, and its gorgeous. Simply gorgeous. feels great in the hand, slim, sleek, responsive. Good signal quality.
