Default [MOD] NFC on screenoff and lockscreen - HTC EVO 4G LTE
Based on my thread for the HTC One X I made a apk to turn on NFC at screenoff and lockscreen for the HTC EVO 4G.

You have three options when to use NFC:
  • screen off
  • lock screen
  • unlocked


USAGE
  1. Rename the Attachment to Nfc.apk
  2. Backup your /system/app/Nfc.apk
  3. Replace the original in /system/app - to keep permission use adb:
    • adb remount
    • adb push Nfc.apk /system/app
  4. Reboot phone (adb reboot)
  5. Disable NFC
  6. Enable NFC


It is based on viperMOD 1.2.1. On ROMs with additional/other framework recompiling needed. If so the NFC options are simply gone. In the second post I will give you an overview of the compatibility to other ROMs based on your response.

replaced by details of rom

Just use the apks that has the same base as your rom.

Just try it. It needs only a minute and there is nothing to damage.
