This phone just came out and I wanted to get a head start on a reference thread. I will eventually use pictures(basically banners) for sections to and really make this thread beautiful. Until then please enjoy the plain text.

Any word on a free unlocking method? Preferably something that doesn't require an outside SIM card (since I don't know anyone with a mini tmo sim card).

Also, how do I disable the annoying startup sound? Is there just a file somewhere I can delete?

Just read that the us variants don't have the wolfson audio chip so no voodoo sound :/
