He's a great dev that's done some superb blind work for us but he needs a phone.

If we can raise enough it would greatly help this community. I would be happy to start the ball rolling with $30.

Great guy to work with and I can say I have learned a ton in a few short weeks. Lets get him a phone so can make this phone even better and I will take a case of red bull for the late night testing. Lol seriously if you get something together , I'm in for $20

I can do 10 now another 10 next paycheck. But how are we going to do this? The only way I actually think will work is sending erikmm the money and trust him to buy the blaze. Or if he came out with another badass update. And he wouldn't release download link unless donated first.

So I guess we would have to take a poll for who would donate for update download link. After poll we can figure out how much each person. Would have to pitch in for erikmm to collect $580 (that's how much I paid after tax) to buy the blaze. What does everyone think? How about you erikmm?

Erikmm is correct that we should nominate someone to handle it. as to $580, we can probably do better.

granted it's C quality, but what does one really need in a dev phone?

It's even cheaper for a used one in great condition, around $240 on Craigslist.

As long as the phone is fully functional so I can test everything then the phone can be used...just make sure it isn't blacklisted so I can fix wifi calling and the apn issue.

I have an s2 for personal use so this phone would be a dev phone

Last time I got a phone donated the users sent me the money bc I had a deal with another user to buy his phone it was all done publicly so the community can see. I say the cheapest/safest way to get it would be ebay because it has some guarantee that if the product doesn't work then you can open a case with PayPal
