Default (Q) Do S beam and android beam play well together

So I got my SGS3 yesterday and my friend is thinking of picking up a game nexus. Are S beam and android beam going to play well with each other?

Galaxy S III comes with both S Beam and Android Beam. S Beam is (currently) a galaxy S III only feature; thus will only work on galaxy s III devices. s beam uses nfc chips to initiate a wifi-direct connection between the phones, whereas android beam uses nfc to initiate connection and transfer files. The main differentiations between S Beam and android bean is the ability to transfer large files (up to 2 gigs), support more file types, and faster transfer rate.
