Default Permission development forum - 2. Try

Excuse me for "reopening" a closed thread, but it was closed a littlebit to fast for me.

Actualy the development-forum (a700) is HIDEN for logged-in people with less than 10 (?) posts (like me).

The forum is SHOWN to unregistered people.

That makes no sence for me.

does that mean developers don't want to talk to noobs ie, who has less than 10 posts on their status?
Well, indeed it sounds logical too...
think about it

Hmpf.
Seems my english is to bad to descibe correctly what i mean...

I'm talking about read-permission.
Not write-permission.

That would mean developer don't want "forum noobs" to read this section if they are logged in.

When they push the logout-Button (and change to forum-guests), they are alowed to read!

Realy senceless!

Doesn't help the other guys, so admins should simply fix the forum permissions.

I have less than 10 posts, am logged in, and can see all the posts in this forum.
Looks like the problem is on your end.

Somewhere on the portal there are links to contact the xda team . Why don't you drop them a note?

Flagged this with Administration.

Sorry for closing the last thread prematurely, I had encountered the same issue and thought it must've been the addition of the A510 section that had caused the problem.

As a <10 post member, you should have read-only access to Development sections - it shouldn't disappear completely to the best of my knowledge.

I'll update here when I have an answer for you guys
