Battery Low [Q] Do you have any extras for longer battery life?

I would like to start a discussion about extending your battery life. For daily usage, battery life is sufficient, but for long trips like intercontinental flights, train travelling or car journeys, power cuts, forgetting your charger somewhere, battery life of any smartphone would not be enough.

I personally have a spare battery, which gives you double battery life, at very low costs (€8,-). What other extra's do you guys use to improve battery life, and how do you use those extra's?

I under clock the phone to 700 when I don't need the processing power. Also use scheduling apps to auto sync on a schedule. Saves me a lot of juice.

1. Portable charger
2. Solar Charger
3. Extra battery
4. Deep sleep your phone when not needed. (Most phones automatically switches to deep sleep mode, even if not rooted)
5. Get a nokia.

Undercloking saves nothing.
I just dont get it why people say underclock it will help.
NO IT WONT HELP.
I find underclocking stupid.
Underclocking from 1GHZ to 700MHZ is not going to save your ass.
Except if you underclock to 200mhz then yes you will save a lot of battery but you will make the phone almost unusable.
Just disable the light sensor.
It is sucking battery while using your phone and also it will give you more brightness.
Ah and undervolting is not reccomended in any situation
AND FOR THOSE WHO RECCOMEND Underclock just to let you know smartassV2 has been ported for locked bootloader so just use it.
Underclock wont help you.
And also dont reduce minimum clock to 100mhz because 100mhz need more power than 200mhz (yeah it sound strange but it has been proven and it is... just strange.)

@martirio3000: ok, can you give some references?
Where I can find smartassV2 governor for locked bootloader...
Where it has been proven that "100mhz need more power than 200mhz"...

I may trust you, but I want to learn more about...

Thanks
